Welcome to Digital Coffee:
Welcome to Digital Coffee. I’m a photography nut with a passion for gadgets. I’m one of the ‘lucky’ owners of the iPhone 4; yes, there are problems with the reception from time to time but I can live with that. By day I have the dubious honour of designing IT systems for various companies and by night I dabble in online marketing (in between ranting at the latest political events I see on the TV). I own a shopping website that lists a selection of discount codes (UK) from online stores around Britain.
My photography, whilst not the most elegant or sophisticated, shows my general interest in the great outdoors. From local sites of interest in rural Buckinghamshire to some of the coldest, windiest reaches of England, Wales and Scotland – I’m at my happiest striding over the hills grabbing shots of the scenery. In my younger days, I was fortunate enough to have traveled to many of the most beautiful countries in the world but, sadly, never took a camera – bummer. Now I’m trying to make up for this loss by photographing as much as possible of the place I call home.
Gadgets and technology are a bit of a passion of mine. From my home UNIX/Linux servers giving me streaming media around the house to Microsft stuff I do for clients, it’s all good fun and keeps the pennies in my pocket. For anyone landing here – I’m not a coder so please don’t jump into the world of C, etc as it’s not my thing. That said, I’m happy to discuss the finer points of LDAP, etc.
That’s my short bio. Hope you enjoy reading and I look forward to reading your comments on my blog.
